Soles - Pioneros 63-79 Pioneros de Quintana Roo-Cancun are the new LNBP champions. They outgunned Soles de Mexicali in the decisive seventh game of the championship series to conquer the title. The game was mostly controlled by Pioneros. Soles managed to win fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Soles 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Adam Parada (213-81, college: Cal-Irvine ) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Justin Keenan (202-88, college: Ferris St. ) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Pioneros' coach Manuel Cintron used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington ) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Juan Anderson (198-93, college: Marquette ) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Soles.
