Ndiaye's double-double lands him LNBP Player of the Week award- November 9, 2019
He had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Panteras (#4, 10-8) 97-103. Correcaminos maintains the 7th position in their group in Mexican LNBP. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 17 games and recorded just five victories. Ndiaye turned to be Correcaminos' top player in his first season with the team. University of California - Irvine graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ndiaye leads league in rebounds with 10.5rpg. Ndiaye is in league's top in and averages solid 1.4bpg and 71.2% FGP. Second best performed player last round was Kennedy Jones (188-G-89). He is American guard in his 3rd season at Correcaminos. In the last game Jones recorded impressive 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Correcaminos lost that game 97-103 to the higher-ranked Panteras (#4, 10-8). Correcaminos managed to keep the same 7th spot in West. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Correcaminos managed to get this year. Jones is one of the most experienced players at Correcaminos and similarly like Mamadou Ndiaye has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.2ppg (#1). He also recorded 4.1 assists per game. Third place about best performers goes to swingman Rodney Green (196-G/F-88) of league's second-best Aaguacateros. Green scored 26 points and passed seven assists. He was a key player of Aaguacateros, leading his team to a 110-83 easy win against the lower-ranked Astros (#6, 9-10). Aaguacateros needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in West. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 6 lost games. Green has a very solid season. In 14 games in Mexico he scored 16.4ppg. He also has 4.3rpg and FGP: 56.3%. Other top performing players last week: 4.
