Mineros de Zacatecas (LNBP) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American small forward Adonis Thomas (201-105kg-93, college: Memphis). He started the season at BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral in French Jeep ELITE ProA. In 13 games he recorded 8.1ppg and 2.4rpg this season.
Thomas has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
Among other achievements his team made it to the Turkish President Cup final in 2018. Thomas received also USBasket.com All-D-League 3rd Team award back in 2015.
He is a very experienced player. Thomas has played also professionally in Germany, Italy (Avellino), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers and Indiana Pacers), Turkey (Bandirma), D-League (Springfield A.), NBA G League (Grand Rapids Drive), The Basketball Tournament (Memphis State and Bluff City) and NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors).
He attended University of Memphis until 2013 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
