Astros de Jalisco (LNBP) agreed terms with 27-year old American guard Avry Holmes (185cm-88kg-94, college: Clemson). The last time (19-20) he played at Aaguacateros in Mexican LNBP. Holmes missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
In 2017 he was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (G-League) in third round (66th overall).
He attended Clemson University and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
Holmes has played also professionally in Greece and The Basketball Tournament (Power of the Paw).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Mexican LNBP 2020 in 2020. He was voted to All-WCC Honorable Mention back in 2014 at his college time.
