LNBPF 2023 - Adelitas welcome back Danielle Adams, ex ASA Jerusalem

Adelitas de Chihuahua (LNBPF) landed experienced 34-year old American 185cm center Danielle Adams (college: Texas A&M) for upcoming season. It is actually her comeback to Chihuahua as she has played here before. Adams played recently at ASA Jerusalem in Israeli D1 league. In 24 games she averaged impressive 21.5ppg, 12.8rpg (#2 in the league), 2.9apg, 1.3spg and 1.3bpg last season. The last summer she played at Adelitas in Mexican LNBPF where in 27 games she had very remarkable stats: 15.1ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.3spg. She helped them to make it to the Mexican LNBPF final after they ended regular season as second best team. Good year as she was voted League Player of the Week and selected to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Second Team.
In 2011 she was drafted by San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
Adams graduated from Texas A&M University and it will be her twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
She is a very experienced player. Adams has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). She has played previously professionally also in France (Bourges), Italy (Pallacanestro Pozzuoli), Turkey (Adana) and WNBA (Connecticut Sun and S.Antonio SS). Her team won Israeli League Regular Season in 2013 and 2019.
Among many awards she received Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Player of the Year award back in 2019. Adams played also for Jefferson Community College for 2 years.
