LNBPF 2023 - Gladys Avila is back at Adelitas

Adelitas de Chihuahua (LNBPF) added to their roster 28-year old Mexican international forward Gladys Avila (177cm-1994) for new 2023 season. It is actually her comeback to Chihuahua as she has played here before. Avila just played at Caffe Moak Luxol in Maltese Women League. She helped them to win the Supercup. The last summer she played at Adelitas in Mexican LNBPF where in 24 games she had 5.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.7apg. Avila contributed to her team making it to the Mexican LNBPF final after they ended regular season as second best team.
She has been also a member of Mexican international program for some years. Avila has regularly played for Mexican senior team since 2017 and previously for University National Team in 2015.
She represented Mexico at the FIBA Centrobasket Women's Championship in Mexico last year. Avila's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: Score-3 (16.3ppg), 4.0rpg, Assists-5 (5.3apg), 1.5spg, FGP: 51.6%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 70.6%.
Avila has played previously professionally in Iceland (IR Reykjavik) and Mexico (Aztks, Escaramuzas).
