LNBPF 2023 - Dejza James (ex San Martino) agreed terms with Freseras

Freseras Irapuato (LNBPF) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American 185cm forward Dejza James (college: Arizona). James moved there from San Martino in Italian Serie A1. She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 6 Serie A1 games she recorded 11.8ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.7apg. James also played for Grengewald that season where in 14 Serie A1 games she was the best scorer with impressive 22.6ppg and had 11.1rpg, 2.8apg and 1.3spg. She was also voted League Player of the Week. James also played 8 games in Eurocup where she averaged remarkable 20.5ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.6spg.
She is a very experienced player. James has played also professionally in Greece (AO Eleutheria Moshatou), Hungary (Ludovika-Csata), Luxembourg, Portugal (Benfica) and Turkey (Urla, Mersin Gelisim and Mardin BSB).
Among many awards she was selected to Eurobasket.com Portuguese League All-Imports Team back in 2018.
She graduated from University of Arizona in 2017 and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball.
