LNBPF 2023 - Fuehring comes back to Panteras, ex Ludovika-Csata

Panteras de Aguascalientes (LNBPF) added to their roster American forward Samantha Fuehring (191cm, college: Louisville). It is actually her comeback to Aguascalientes as she has played here before. Fuehring moved there from Ludovika-Csata in Hungarian A Division. In 24 games she was league's third best scorer with impressive 17.5ppg and had 8.5rpg (#5 in the league), 2.5apg and 1.6spg last season. Good year as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times). She also played 2 games in Eurocup where she recorded 13.0ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.0spg and 1.0bpg. The last summer she played at Panteras in Mexican LNBPF. In 18 games she was league's second best scorer with remarkable 20.7ppg and averaged 7.3rpg, 3.5apg and 1.3spg. Fuehring helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Quite impressive season as she was voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year.
In 2019 she was drafted by Washington Mystic (WNBA) in third round (34th overall).
She graduated from University of Louisville and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.
Fuehring has played also professionally in Germany (Freiburg, Osnabrueck). she was also selected Eurobasket.com All-German DBBL Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
She played in the final of German DBBL in 2021.
