Astros looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was forward Isaiah Whaley (203-1998, college: UConn) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Lagerald Vick (196-1997, college: Kansas) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Markel Crawford (196-1994, college: Ole Miss) produced 26 points and power forward Anthony Smith (201-1997, college: Murray St.) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Astros and five Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Strangely Tijuana Zonkeys outrebounded Venados 46-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Alonzo Stafford (200-1993, college: CCC) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Alex Kaye Williams (203-1993) supported him with 19 points. Venados' coach James Penny used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists by Anthony Young (200-1989, college: KWC) did not help to save the game for Tijuana Zonkeys. Guard Gabe McCray (201-1994, college: SC State, agency: Interperformances) added 20 points for the guests.

Four Pioneros Los Mochis players scored in double figures. American guard Jarron Cumberland (196-1997, college: Cincinnati) responded with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 7 assists and Colombian Michaell Jackson (190-1987) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) produced a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and guard Jimmy Whitt (190-1997, college: Arkansas, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
