Panteras - Correcaminos 110-90

Panteras dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Correcaminos' 44. Panteras looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Correcaminos' players. Argentinian-American Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) notched 22 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and American guard Terrell Brown (185-1998, college: NM State) supported him with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Panteras' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 24 points and 6 rebounds by Costa Rican-Belizean Charles Garcia (204-1988, college: Seattle) did not help to save the game for Correcaminos. American point guard Damien Daniels (170-2000, college: ACU) added 14 points and 11 assists for the guests. Five Correcaminos players scored in double figures.

Four Dorados players scored in double figures. Dorados' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Michael Bryson (193-1994, college: UCSB) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Manuel Hernandez (193-1991) scored 26 points.
