Astros - Diablos 98-71

Astros dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Diablos' 22. They outrebounded Diablos 37-19 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (195-1993, college: Marist) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (191-1992) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Astros players scored in double figures. Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) replied with 20 points and Latvian Kriss Helmanis (209-2002) added 12 points in the effort for Diablos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Fuerza Regia - Panteras 89-77

Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Kosovan-American Scott Bamforth (188-1989, college: Weber St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Senegalese center Serigne Barro (208-1995) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Tyler Cheese (193-1996, college: Akron) added 15 points in the effort for Panteras. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
