Jaguares clinched D1 title. They overcame Tipitapa in Game 3 of the championship series to complete the sweep. Jaguares had a 38-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. American guard Destiny Pitts (178-1999, college: Texas A&M) helped adding 28 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 steals.

The standout American guard Destiny Pitts was named the Player of the Year of the championship-winning Jaguares UAM Managua. She graduated from the Texas A&M two years ago. Pitts received multiple other awards, was voted the Import Player of the Year and was selected to the First Team. Her excellent performance assisted her team in beating the Tipitapa 3 to 0 in the final series. Pitts orchestrated her way to the third spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling average of over 20. She also averaged 7 rebounds per game in the league. Pitts has totalled 11 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 2 games. She registered double-doubles in 4 games during the event. Pitts' 31 points against Real Esteli were the most she scored in the 2024 season.

Tiffany Reynolds, Canadian guard from the Tipitapa Deportes Managua, earned the Guard of the Year at the Liga Superior de Baloncesto Femenil. She is the Lakehead alumna from 2023. Reynolds was also named to the First Team. With Reynolds' excellent performance, the Tipitapa Deportes Managua achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 12 to 3 in the regular season. Her best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Jaguares 0 to 3. Reynolds previously earned a spot in the First Team last year. With finesse and precision, Reynolds claimed the fifth position in points per game, delivering a stellar almost 17 points per game average and third spot in rebounds per game with an outstanding average of almost 9. She has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Reynolds' 24 points against Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria were the most she scored in the 2024 season. She won the Nicaraguan League championship title in 2023.
Shannen Peralta, forward from the Tipitapa Deportes Managua, picked up the Forward of the Year of Liga Superior de Baloncesto Femenil. She received multiple other awards, was named the Domestic Player of the Year and was voted to the First Team. Peralta's best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the Jaguares 0 to 3. She was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2021 and selected to the Second Team last year. Peralta's playmaking prowess was on full display as she secured the second position in points per game averaging almost 21 and fourth spot in rebounds per game with an impressive average of almost 9. She has totalled 11 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 3 games. Peralta notched double-doubles in 8 games at the event. Her 35 points against the Jaguares were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Despite Peralta's young age she had an impressive career. She won the Nicaraguan League championship title for three years in a row ( between 2021 and 2023).
Jennifer Espinoza, 19-year old guard from the Leonas de Managua, was chosen to the First Team at the Liga Superior de Baloncesto Femenil. She recorded over 10 points per game that season in the league. Espinoza led the LSBF in rebounds per game with over 10. She has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Espinoza's 22 points against the Jaguares were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Espinoza's team made it to the League Semifinals in 2023.

Real Esteli have won Torneo Luisa Amanda Espinoza! They overcame UAM 2-1 in the Final series with a decisive 66-50 win.
Real Esteli started with a 15-11 run, whilst UAM replied with a 19-17 rally in the second frame. Real Esteli took control in the second half and won both periods to clinch the title.
Grissell Guillen (G-2007) led the way with 25 points for the winners. Andrea Suarez (SG-2004) scored 17 points for UAM.
