Tipitapa clinched LSBF 2023 title as they swept the Final series against Real Esteli 3-0. In the third game Tipitapa overcame Real Esteli 76-74. Trailing 12-15 at the end of the first quarter, Tipitapa replied with a 27-16 surge in the second period and survived the late push from the opponents. Clenia Salazar (F-1987) stepped up with 24 points and Shannen Peralta (F-2003) nailed 14. Jade Compton (178-F, college: Presbyterian) replied with 24 points in a loss, whilst Doniyah Cliney (182-G-1996, college: S.Carolina) notched 19.
