There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LSBF. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game in the last round took place in between Leonas and Tipitapa on Sunday night. Leonas were defeated by Tipitapa in a tough game on the road 61-70. 25 personal fouls committed by Leonas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Clenia Salazar (-1987) contributed with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Jessica Marino (-2000) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds for Leonas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
Very important is a road loss of UNI against Real Esteli on Sunday night. Visiting UNI was crushed by Real Esteli in 68-48. Honduran forward Nelly Rapalo (173-1999) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Janae Barnes chipped in 17 points during the contest. Jamaican swingman Antoinette Bannister (178-1993, college: ECU) responded with 15 points and 8 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
An interesting game for Leonas which hosted in UNI. Leonas managed to get a 7-point victory 88-81. Jessica Marino notched a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 32 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists by Antoinette Bannister did not help to save the game for UNI. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.

In the last game of round 2 bottom-ranked Tipitapa was smashed by Real Esteli on the road 85-50.
