The game in was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Real Esteli (9-4) played at the court of 5th ranked UNI (2-12). Even 30 points and 4 assists by Jamaican swingman Antoinette Bannister (178-1993, college: ECU) did not help to save the game for UNI. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Jaguares. UNI lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Real Esteli will play against Leonas (#4) in the next round. UNI will play against the league's second-placed Jaguares in Managua and hopes to get back on the winning track.
