The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Managua: Leones (#5) and Jaguares (#6). Jaguares were defeated at home 71-80 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Leones had a 45-33 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Colombian center Chyse Webster (204-2000) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Luis Gonzalez chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. American Justin Jackson (203-1990, college: Cincinnati, agency: AG Sports Solutions) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leones (15-7) moved-up to fourth place. Jaguares at the other side keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. Leader Caribbean Coast delivered the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Indigenas (6-15) 84-71 in Managua. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Andy Williams contributed with 7 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Caribbean Coast's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Canadian swingman Zekiah Owens (197-1998, college: AIC) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for Indigenas. Caribbean Coast (18-4) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place. Indigenas lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. In the last game of round 25 Rivas were defeated by UNI Basket in a road game 92-84.
