The best player for the winners was international Kevin Andino (186-2002) who scored 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). point guard Mario Garcia (182-2000) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Neyton Padilla (-2004) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds. We should mention about the upset which took place in Jinotepe, where higher ranked Carazo (3-3) was outleveled at home by top-ranked Brumas (3-0) 93-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Carazo. It was a good game for the former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists. Rafael Mendoza contributed with 28 points for the winners. Luis Jarquin (-1994) replied with 33 points (!!!) for Carazo. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brumas have a solid three-game winning streak.
