The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Tipitapa (11-1) in Jinotega on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Brumas (12-0) 79-69. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Tipitapa. It was a quality performance for Rafael Mendoza who led the winners and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Yassir Cruz came up with 18 points and 8 rebounds for Hurricane in the defeat. Jaguares destroyed San Isidro in a home game 88-61. Carazo unfortunately lost to UNAN de on the road 59-67. Winless Leon was rolled over Sur Rivas on its own court 75-121. Hurricane was defeated by Sebaco in Matagalpa 81-73. Indigenas were beaten by La Libertad at home 77-87.



Alcaldia Alma - San Judas 55-84

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked San Judas (9-5) crushed 20th ranked Alcaldia Alma (1-14) in Managua 84-55 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Daniel Tenorio (177-1990) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 4 assists. The former international center Rudy Taylor (198-1983) accounted for 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side.
