Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia win the openers at 2018 ODESUR Games

Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia won the openers at 2018 ODESUR Games at the Coliseo Polideportivo Evo Morales. Paraguay edged Chile 66-62 as Adolfo Farina stepped up with 15 points and Gabriel Peralta (201-F-95) as well as Bruno Zanotti (198-SF-82, college: Merrimack) had 10 each. Franco Ordenes replied with 29 points in a loss.
Argentina edged Colombia 82-72. Marco Gnass stepped up with 29 points and Lucas Reyes (181-PG-00, agency: DTMones) had 14. Stalin Quinonez posted 23 points in the losing effort, while Michaell Wright had 14.
Bolivia meanwhile overcame Peru 72-49. Rene Calvo (193-F/G-93) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Ronald Arze (175-PG-93) added 15. Juan Venegas scored 17 in the losing case.
