Trailing 14-18 after the first period Rio Abajo needed an 18-12 run and then added two narrow wins in the second half. Nancy Pierre (G-84, college: John Brown) and Anayansi Ortiz stepped up with 17 points each, while Luzmila Moreno (G) added 12. Yeritza Duque ended up with 16 points in the losing effort.
