Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Panteras as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Panteras defeated 4th placed Aguilas in Panama City 72-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aguilas. Strangely Aguilas outrebounded Panteras 53-32 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Panteras made 7 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Aguilas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Dominican power forward Brayan Martinez (203-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and Luis Dinolis (185-93, college: Broward CC) chipped in 17 points. Manuel Guevara (186-81) responded with 20 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Aguilas at the other side keep the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Universitarios.
Important game to mention about took place in Panama City. Fifth ranked Correcaminos (3-3) saved a 1-point derby victory on the road edging 4th placed Halcones (2-3) 69-68 in the game for the third place. Center Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and Scott Rodgers accounted for 11 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Naturalized American point guard Bradley Tumer (183-89, college: Clayton St.) came up with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals for Halcones in the defeat. Correcaminos moved-up to third place. Defending champion Halcones keep the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Atletico Nacional.
Bottom-ranked Toros (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to second ranked Caballos (4-1) 94-53 on Wednesday evening. The best player for the winners was Angel Matias who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Joel Munoz produced 10 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Caballos maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Panteras. Loser Toros still closes the standings with five games lost.
