Caballos sign Tjader Fernandez, ex San German

Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce (LPB) signed 27-year old American point guard Tjader Fernandez (178cm). He played last summer at Atleticos de San German in Puerto Rican BSN league. Fernandez managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 17 BSN games he had 10.7ppg, 2.2rpg, 4.2apg and 1.0spg. He ended the last season at Panteras in Panamanian LPB where in 10 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 5.3apg and 1.5spg. 2019-2020 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Panamanian LPB 1st Team and League Player of the Week. But the most of that year Fernandez spent at Santos in Mexican LNBP. In 17 games he averaged 10.7ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.1apg and 1.3spg.
He has played previously professionally in El Salvador (Brujos Izalco).
Fernandez's team made it to the El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura Semifinals in 2018.
