Isaac Machore put on an amazing game in the last round for Panteras, receiving a Hoops Agents LPB U21 Player of the Week award for round 2.
The player was the main contributor (32 points, seven rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Univ.West (#1, 3-1) 67-64. Thanks to this victory Panteras moved-up to the 5th position in Panamanian LPB U21. Panteras is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Machore has many years of experience at Panteras, through which he has constantly improved. Isaac Machore has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.3ppg and is league's best passer with 7.3apg. Machore is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 8.3rpg) and averages impressive 2.5spg.
The second best player in last round's games was 20-year old Bryan Anderson (185-F-01) of league's second-best Atletico. Anderson had a very good evening with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Atletico to another comfortable win outscoring Dragones (1-3) 118-76. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Anderson is one of the most experienced players at Atletico and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#5). He also registered 6.5 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was another Atletico's star - forward Nefthaly Price (182-F). Price scored 28 points. He was another key player of Atletico, helping his team with a 118-76 easy win against Dragones (#6, 1-3). Atletico needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Price has a great season in Panama. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.0ppg (3rd best).
