Nefthaly Price gets MVP of the Week award for Panamanian LPB U21

Experienced Nefthaly Price (182-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Atletico and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LPB U21 Player of the Week award for round 1.
The forward had a double-double of 33 points and twelve rebounds, while his team lost the game against Caballos (#4, 2-2) 101-107. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Atletico is placed at 2nd position in Panamanian LPB U21. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Atletico will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 3-1 record. Price has many years of experience at Atletico, through which he has constantly improved. Price has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.0ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 56.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Isaac Machore of Panteras. Machore impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Panteras lost that game 58-76 to Correcaminos (3-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Anderson showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, five rebounds and six assists in the last round. Despite Anderson's great performance Atletico lost 101-107 to #4 ranked Caballos. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game.
