Dragones add Munoz to their roster- September 7, 2021
POSTED BY: Robert OConnell
Munoz represented Panama at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) four years ago. His team won Gold. He is quite experienced player. Munoz has played also professionally in Brazil (Liga Sorocaba, FTC EAD Bahia and Jacarei), Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Venezuela, Panama (Canguros de Parque Lefevre, Correcaminos, Caballos and Los Tigres) and Nicaragua (Leones de Managua). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Panamanian LPB in 2015. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Panamanian LPB 2nd Team in 2020. Munoz is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Dragones. On Munoz: Good defender, good hands gain lot of lost balls and steals, good shooter from 2s and 3s.Also a disciplined team leader who can quarterback any team, changing the tempo of the game as will. One of only few Panamanian quality guards.
