Rojas' double-double lands him Player of the Week award

35-year old power forward Adalberto Rojas (195-PF-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for Caballos and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 23 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Panteras (#3, 1-1) 78-75. Caballos is placed at 5th position in Panamanian league. Caballos is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 3 games. In the team's last game Rojas had a remarkable 52.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Caballos, through which he has constantly improved. Rojas has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 14.7rpg) and averages solid 2.3bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Raimer Santana (183-PG-97) of Panteras. He is Dominican Rep. guard in his first season at Panteras. In the last game Santana recorded impressive 26 points and 6 rebounds. It was enough for Panteras to edge Caballos (1-2) by 3 points 78-75. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Santana is a newcomer at Panteras and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.0ppg (#9).

Third place about best performers goes to another Panteras' star - guard Luis Dinolis (185-SG-93). Dinolis showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, five rebounds and four assists in the last round.
