Jaime Lloreda
41-year old center Jaime Lloreda (204-C-80) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Correcaminos and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed Caballos (#6, 2-11) with 30-point margin 110-80. It allowed Correcaminos to take over top position in the Panamanian league. Correcaminos have a solid 10-2 record. Lloreda turned to be Correcaminos' top player in his first season with the team. Louisiana State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lloreda is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.1ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 14.8rpg) and averages solid 58.6% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Tyler Gaskins (193-F-92). He is naturalized American forward in his 5th season at Correcaminos. In the last game Gaskins recorded impressive 23 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Lloreda he helped Correcaminos with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Caballos (#6, 2-11) 110-80. This victory allowed Correcaminos to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 10 matches. Gaskins is one of the most experienced players at Correcaminos and similarly like Jaime Lloreda has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Cristian Joan Duran (201-F-96) of Panteras (#5). Duran scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. Despite Duran's great performance Panteras lost 66-91 to slightly higher-ranked Dragones (#3, 8-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Panteras needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Duran has a very solid season. In 5 games in Panama he scored 17.8ppg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
