Dinolis' 22 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award- November 3, 2021
He had the game-high 22 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Panteras in his team's victory, helping them to beat Toros (#7, 0-17), the league's bottom-ranked team 77-65. Panteras is placed at 4th position in Panamanian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Panteras will need more victories to improve their 9-7 record. In the team's last game Dinolis had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Panteras, through which he has constantly improved. Broward College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dinolis is in league's top in assists (6th best: 4.3apg) and averages solid 53.8% FGP. Second best performed player last round was Troy Jones (201-F-92) of league's second-best Universitarios. He is American forward in his first season at Universitarios. In the last game Jones recorded impressive double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Universitarios lost that game 86-92 to slightly lower-ranked Dragones (#3, 12-5). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Universitarios still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 12-4 record is not bad at all. Jones is a newcomer at Universitarios and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.6ppg (#9). He also registered 9.1 boards per game. Third place about best performers goes to forward Pablo Rivas (198-F-94) of Dragones (#3). Rivas scored 25 points. He was a key player of Dragones, leading his team to a 92-86 win against #2 ranked Universitarios. Rivas has a great season in Panama. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.5ppg (best scorer). He also has 2.0bpg and FGP: 61.3%.
