Petkovic number one in Panama LPB for round 21 (by Hoops Agents)

Serbian Power forward Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-91, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for Atletico Nacional, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 39 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Caballos (#6, 3-14) 111-96. Atletico Nacional is placed at 4th position in Panamanian LPB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Atletico Nacional will need more victories to improve their 9-7 record. Petkovic turned to be Atletico Nacional's top player in his first season with the team. Milos Petkovic averages this season 25.8ppg and 11.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old Dominican Rep. Cristian Joan Duran (201-F-96) of Panteras. Duran had a very good evening with a double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Panteras was edged by the higher-ranked Correcaminos (#1, 14-3) 114-113. This loss caused Panteras to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 9-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Duran is a newcomer at Panteras, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#2). He also registered 9.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was center Jaime Lloreda (204-C-80) of league's top team Correcaminos. Lloreda showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and eleven assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Correcaminos, leading his team to a 114-113 win against the lower-ranked Panteras (#5, 9-8). Correcaminos confirms their top position in the standings. Lloreda has a great season in Panama. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.1rpg (#1 in league).
