Correcaminos toppled Atletico Nacional to cut the deficit in the series. It was a great evening for the former international forward Tyler Gaskins (193-92, college: St.Peter's) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 assists. Center Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU) helped adding 10 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (204-91) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American-Salvadorean point guard Robert Martinez (185-91, college: OLLU) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Dragones held off Universitarios to sweep the series. Dragones outrebounded Halcones 49-35 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dragones made 7 blocks. It was a good game for forward Pablo Rivas (198-94, college: NCCU) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Joel Munoz (183-80) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Rivas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international Anell Alexis (200-90, college: Marist) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Chilean guard Eugenio Luzcando (187-95, college: Idaho St.) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Halcones. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
