Correcaminos rallied past Panteras to take the lead in the championship series. Correcaminos dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Panteras' 34. They outrebounded Panteras 54-25 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Correcaminos looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Colombian power forward Tathiana Mosquera (197-89) fired a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for the winners. Colombian forward Mabel Martinez (180-86) chipped in 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American guard Ashley Reid (165-98, college: Wichita St.) produced 19 points and Ecuadorian power forward Lucia Garrido (-92) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
