2022 COCABA: Costa Rica edge Panama in Chihuahua City

Costa Rica edged Panama 72-61 at the 2022 COCABA Championship in Chihuahua City. Both teams nailed 20 points each in the opening period, whilst Costa Rica posted a 15-11 run to take a 4-point halftime advantage. Moreover, they closed the game with a 21-13 surge to seal the win.
Daniela Quesada (168-G-1997) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Ana Matamoros (190-C-1993) netted 13. Ashley Reid (165-G-1998, college: Wichita St.) replied with 21 in a loss and Milan Tuttle (174-G-2003) scored 13.
