The Regular Season in LPBF just started. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Leonas recorded a loss in Panama City on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by LA U 68-59. LA U forced 21 Leonas turnovers. Mariangel Winnubsts (168-2007) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Diobelis Batista (167-2005) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. LA U's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Venezuelan point guard Nathaly Malpica (161) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for lost side.
Important game to mention about took place in . Leonas saved a 1-point victory at home edging Cobras 70-69 on Sunday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Salvadorean swingman Yurizell Funes (175-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Nathaly Malpica contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Natasha Villar (178) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks for Cobras.
An exciting game was played in Panama City. Amazonas faced LA U. Guests from Cocle defeated host LA U 78-61. Nelly Rapalo stepped up and scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. At the losing side Veronica Guedez responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
