Venezuelan Guard Crismar Rojas (G) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked LA U, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player was the main contributor (21 points, six rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to crush Felinas (#5, 2-5) with 22-point margin 73-51. LA U is placed at 2nd position in Panamanian LPBF. LA U is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. It's Rojas' second year at LA U and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Crismar Rojas has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.8ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.8rpg), assists (7th best: 3.2apg) and averages impressive 3.8spg.

The second best player in last round's games was Colombian Paola Rivas (178-F) of Cobras. Rivas had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Cobras cruised to a 78-68 relatively comfortable win over Amazonas (3-3). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Rivas is a newcomer at Cobras, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#4). She also registered 15.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Venezuelan guard Nathaly Malpica (161-PG) of league's top team Leonas. Malpica scored 27 points and passed eight assists. She was a key player of Leonas, leading her team to a 83-64 easy win against Felinas (#5, 2-5). Malpica has a great season in Panama. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (3rd best) and assists with 7.0apg (2nd best).
