Antonio Austin
Experienced American Antonio Austin (196-SF-1991) had a great game in the last round for Centinelas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 31-year old had the game-high 33 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Centinelas in his team's victory, helping them to beat Lobos (#3, 9-6) 100-87. Centinelas maintains the 5th position in Panamanian LPB. Centinelas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-8 record. In the team's last game Austin had a remarkable 68.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Centinelas' top player in his first season with the team. San Diego Christian College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Austin is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.1ppg) and averages solid 57.3% FGP. Worth to mention Austin played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Centinelas' star - young shooting guard Lucas Chavez (187-SG-1995). Chavez impressed basketball fans with a triple-double of 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course together with Austin he helped Centinelas with another comfortable win 100-87 over slightly higher-ranked Lobos (#3, 9-6) being unquestionably team leader. Centinelas' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-8 record. Chavez is a newcomer at Centinelas and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 7.5rpg and 6.6apg.
The third best performed player last round was another Centinelas' star - Serbian Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-1991). Petkovic showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. He was another key player of Centinelas, helping his team with a 100-87 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Lobos (#3, 9-6). Petkovic has a very solid season. In 6 games in Panama he scored 10.8ppg. He also has 10.5rpg, 3.5apg and FGP: 53.7%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
