Leonas - Amazonas 88-77

Leonas forced 34 Amazonas turnovers. Strangely Amazonas outrebounded Leonas 60-44 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Venezuelan point guard Nathaly Malpica (161) fired 16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Venezuelan Amanda Torres (170-1989) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. Four Leonas players scored in double figures. Colombian center Libia De la Rosa (185-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks and center Gloria Martinez (181) added 11 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.

Cobras outrebounded LA U 55-39 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Colombian forward Paola Rivas (178) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. Colombian Laura Garrido (172-1997) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Diobelis Batista (167-2005) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and Venezuelan forward Veronica Guedez (170-2001) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for LA U. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
