Atletico Nacional - Halcones 89-59

Atletico Nacional cruised past Halcones to sweep the series. Atletico forced 19 Halcones turnovers and outrebounded them 52-29 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Jonathan King (193-1990, college: ACU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Aaron Gedeon (203-1999, college: Southwest) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Atletico's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Edward Lopez (190-2001) answered with 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and Abid Oses (197-1995, college: Antelope Valley) added 20 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Halcones.

Lobos - Caballos 68-88

Caballos topped Lobos to take 2-1 advantage. Caballos forced 20 Lobos turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Carlos Rodriguez who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Guillermo Navarro (181-2003) helped adding 18 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Costa Rican swingman Daniel Shedden (191-1996, college: MSUB) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and center Jesus Lombardo (201-2000) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lobos' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
