LA U - Cobras 69-60

LA U forced 25 Cobras turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Venezuelan forward Veronica Guedez (170-2001) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Diobelis Batista (167-2005) contributed with 8 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Colombian Laura Garrido (172) replied with 27 points and 6 rebounds and center Natasha Villar (178) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Cobras.

The best player for the winners was Colombian center Libia De la Rosa (185-1992) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 24 rebounds and 5 assists. Colombian Juliana Jimenez (-2000) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Five Amazonas players scored in double figures. Venezuelan Amanda Torres (170-1989) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and Venezuelan point guard Nathaly Malpica (161) added 22 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests.
