Atletico Nacional - Caballos 88-76

Atletico Nacional toppled Caballos to gain the lead in the Finals. Atletico forced 20 Caballos turnovers. Strangely Caballos outrebounded Atletico 38-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Joel Munoz (183-1980) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 assists. Jonathan King (193-1990, college: ACU) contributed with 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Atletico players scored in double figures. Forward Michael Hicks (196-1976, college: TAMUCC) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Jose Montenegro (191-1998) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Caballos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
