LigaWPlay 2023 - CJ Rodriguez (ex Haia AQ) agreed terms with Motilones

Motilones del Norte (Liga Wplay) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American (has also Panamanian passport) 188cm point guard CJ Rodriguez (college: S.Nazarene). Rodriguez moved there from Haia Al Qana in Egyptian Superleague. The last summer he played at Punto Rojo in Ecuadorian league where in three Liga Sudamericana games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.7ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.7apg and 1.0spg.
He is a very experienced player. Rodriguez has played also professionally in Argentina (Argentino and Dep Viedma), Mexico (Mineros and Capitanes), Uruguay (Trouville) and Panama (Caballos).
Among many awards his team won Mexican LNBP 2020 East Division Regular Season in 2020. He was voted to Latinbasket.com Panamanian LPB Clausura All-Domestic Players Team back in 2018.
Rodriguez graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2016 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. He played also for Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa for one year.
