Liga WPlay 2024 - Bucaros add Ayarza to their roster

Bucaros de Bucaramanga (Liga Wplay) added to their roster experienced 36-year old Panamanian power forward Josimar Ayarza (205cm-103kg-1987, college: Southern Miss) for season 2024. Ayarza just played at Trouville in Uruguayan LUB league. In 14 games he recorded 11.5ppg and 4.2rpg last season.
He represented Panama at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) seven years ago.
Ayarza is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Echague, Lanus, Dep Viedma, Sportivo 9 de Julio Rio Tercero and Estudiantes Concordia), Brazil, Chile (Concepcion and Los Leones), Mexico (Correcaminos, Fuerza Regia, Caballeros de Culiacan and Jefes), Paraguay (Libertad Asuncion), Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Uruguay (Welcome and Bigua), Panama (Correcaminos and Caballos), Nicaragua (Real Esteli) and Colombia (Titanes and Storm). His team won Panamanian LPB Regular Season in 2018 and 2020.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Panamanian LPB Player of the Year back in 2020.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Bucaros.
Ayarza graduated from University of Southern Mississippi in 2011 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player. He played also for Cuesta College for 2 years.
