Brown's 34-point game gives him LPB U23 Player of the Week award

17-year old Ethan Brown (2007) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Panama Metro U23 team and receives a Hoops Agents LPB U23 Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 34 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Panama Metro in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Guna Yala (#11, 2-11) with 61-point margin 116-55. Panama Metro maintains the 2nd position in Panamanian LPB U23. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Panama Metro keeps a perfect 10-0 record. Brown turned to be Panama Metro's top player in his first season with the team. Ethan Brown averages this season 15.2ppg and 5.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Juan Lewis (181-F-2004) of Bocas Del Toro U23 team. He is a forward in his first season at Bocas Del Toro. In the last game Lewis recorded an impressive double-double of 35 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Bocas Del Toro cruised to a 70-62 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Panama Oeste (#10, 2-7). Bocas Del Toro's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 7-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Lewis is a newcomer at Bocas Del Toro and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.0ppg (#3). He also registered 7.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Carlos Moreno of Veraguas U23 team (#5). Moreno got into 30-points club by scoring 42 points in the last round. He was a key player of Veraguas, leading his team to a 96-69 easy win against Los Santos (#12, 0-13). Veraguas needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 5 lost games. Moreno has a great season in Panama. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.3ppg (best scorer). He also has 2.7spg and and 3PT: 48.6%.
