Guillermo Navarro's triple-double lands him LPB U23 Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Point guard Guillermo Navarro (181-PG-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Panama Metro U23 team, receiving a Hoops Agents LPB U23 Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 21-year old player recorded a triple-double of 16 points adding also 10 rebounds and 12 assists, while his team beat Cocle (#3, 9-6) 81-73. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Panama Metro maintains the 2nd position in Panamanian LPB U23. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Panama Metro keeps a perfect 10-0 record. In the team's last game Navarro had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Panama Metro's top player in his first season with the team. Guillermo Navarro has solid league stats. He is league's best passer with 8.7apg. Navarro is in league's top in and averages impressive 60.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Panama Metro's star - young Ethan Brown (2007). Brown had a very good evening with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Of course Panama Metro U23 team cruised to a 81-73 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Cocle (#3, 9-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Panama Metro consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Panama Metro managed to win all 10 games keeping a perfect record. Brown is a newcomer at Panama Metro, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Jahir Lizondro of Chiriqui U23 team (#8). Lizondro scored 23 points. He was a key player of Chiriqui, leading his team to a 87-78 win against slightly higher-ranked Bocas Del Toro (#6, 7-7). The chances of Chiriqui not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lizondro could try to bring Chiriqui's a little bit higher in the standings. Lizondro has a very solid season. In 6 games in Panama he scored 9.2ppg.
