Hammurabi De Leon gets MVP of the Week award for Panamanian LPB U23 (by Hoops Agents)

Hammurabi De Leon had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Colon U23 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LPB U23 Player of the Week award for round 6.
The had a double-double of 20 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed Guna Yala (#11, 2-11) with 91-point margin 157-66. It allowed Colon to consolidate first place in the Panamanian LPB U23. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Colon still have not lost a single game, getting all 14 victories. It was one of impressive evenings for De Leon as usually he does not deliver so high stats. De Leon has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Colon's star - Damian Armuelles (192-SF). Armuelles impressed basketball fans with 20 points and 2 rebounds. Of course together with De Leon he helped Colon U23 team with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Guna Yala (#11, 2-11) 157-66. Of course Colon still keep the league's top spot. He plays for the best team in the league and Colon managed to win all 14 games keeping a perfect record. Armuelles is a newcomer at Colon and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Colon's star - Gil De Obaldia (194-F-2000). De Obaldia showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Colon U23 team, helping his team with a 157-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Guna Yala (#11, 2-11). Colon have amazing season winning all 14 games without a single defeat. De Obaldia turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. De Obaldia has a very solid season. In 6 games in Panama he scored 7.5ppg.
