Lloreda number one in Panama LPB for round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Center Jaime Lloreda (204-C-1980) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Toros de Chiriqui David, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 44-year old player had a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Dragonesxx' (#2, 5-2) with 22-point margin 79-57. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Toros to take over top position in the Panamanian LPB. Toros have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Lloreda had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Former Louisiana State University star has very solid stats this year. Lloreda leads league in rebounds with 14.2rpg. Lloreda is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.2bpg and 57.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Puerto Rican Jorge Matos (185-G-1992) of Club Deportivo Panteras. Matos had a very good evening with 28 points and 3 rebounds. Bad luck as Panteras lost that game 68-81 to slightly higher-ranked Correcaminos (#3, 4-2). Panteras managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Panteras managed to get this year. Matos is a newcomer at Panteras, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.6ppg (#1). He also registered 4.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Toros' star - guard Guillermo Shuffler (181-PG-2003). Shuffler scored 20 points and passed 5 assists. He was another key player of Toros de Chiriqui David, helping his team with a 79-57 easy win against #2 ranked Dragonesxx' in a game of the week. Toros confirms their top position in the standings. Shuffler has a great season in Panama. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.8ppg (9th best) and assists with 9.2apg (best passer).
