It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Correcaminos. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The best player for the winners was naturalized American guard Ashley Reid (165-1998, college: Wichita St.) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Tayina Ellis (182-1984) chipped in 10 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Mexican point guard Paola Beltran (164-1994) who recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Correcaminos' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Panteras moved-up to second place. Correcaminos at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the third position with two games lost.

Bottom-ranked Aguilas (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 59-40 loss to sixth ranked Artesanas (2-6) in on Sunday evening. Juliana Jimenez had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. Artesanas' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Angelica Racine with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. Newly promoted Artesanas maintains sixth position with 2-6 record. Loser Aguilas still closes the standings with six games lost.
