31-year old Mexican forward Diana Armas (185-F-1993) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Correcaminos de Colon and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had a double-double of 15 points and 21 rebounds, while her team crushed LA U (#6, 2-6) with 16-point margin 77-61. Correcaminos is placed at 2nd position in Panamanian LPBF. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Correcaminos will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. Armas turned to be Correcaminos' top player in her first season with the team. Armas has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 12.1rpg) and averages solid 53.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jessica Martino (178-F-2000) of Cobras. She is American forward in her first season at Cobras. In the last game Martino recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds. Of course Cobras cruised to a 60-49 relatively comfortable win over Aguilas (#7, 0-7). Cobras' 4th position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 4-4 record is not bad at all. Martino is a newcomer at Cobras and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.2ppg (#5). She also registered 11.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Angelica Racine (C) of Aguilas de Rio Abajo (#7). Racine scored 11 points and grabbed 24 rebounds (!!!). Despite Racine's great performance the Aguilas lost 49-60 to the higher-ranked Cobras (#4, 4-4). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Aguilas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 7 games. Racine has individually a great season in Panama. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.5rpg (2nd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
