Correcaminos celebrate LPBF title

Correcaminos earned LPBF title. They overcame Felinas at home court to complete the sweep of the Finals. Correcaminos held Felinas to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Correcaminos forced 20 Felinas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Mexican point guard Paola Beltran (164-1994) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Mexican forward Diana Armas (185-1993) chipped in 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Correcaminos' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Layla Lee responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Colombian Laura Garrido (172-1990) scored 11 points and 6 steals.
