Correcaminos had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Roberto Armstrong (182-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 9 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Pablo Rivas (198-1994, college: NCCU) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. Rivas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Correcaminos players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Amilcar Sanchez (191-2001) with 21 points and 7 rebounds and center Jaime Lloreda (204-1980, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
