Nicaragua stepped onto the pedestal as they beat Panama for the third-place finish in Managua. Panama recorded a 29-27 halftime lead. But the hosts went on a 32-20 second-half rally to snatch the win at the end. Kiyomi McMiller (173-G-2006) stepped up with 36 points to pace Nicaragua. Veronica Vega (169-SF-1991) answered with 15 points for Panama. |
